Scrap gold prices decline, platinum and silver holds out

The daily scrap gold prices - both hallmarked and non- hallmarked fell Monday , 21st October on the ScrapMonster Price Index. The prices of Silver scrap and Platinum scrap climbed higher.

WASHINGTON (Scrap Monster) : The daily scrap gold prices - both hallmarked  and non- hallmarked fell Monday , 21st October on the ScrapMonster Price Index. The prices of Silver scrap and Platinum scrap climbed higher.

 In the Hallmarked category, the 14 carat gold scrap prices were down by $ 0.57 per Oz. The prices of 18 carat and 22 carat gold scrap went marginally lower by $ 0.72 and $ 0.89 per Oz respectively.9 carat gold scrap prices were down by $ 0.36 per Oz. The price of Platinum scrap saw an increase of $ 13.13 per Oz. Silver scrap prices also were marginally higher by $ 0.19 per Oz.

In the Non-Hallmarked category, the 14 carat gold scrap prices edged lower by $ 0.54 per Oz. The prices of 18 carat and 22 carat gold scrap were down $ 0.69 and $ 0.84 per Oz respectively. 9 carat gold scrap also declined by $ 0.35 per Oz. A rise of $ 13.13 per Oz was seen in platinum scrap prices. Meantime, Non-hallmarked silver scrap prices saw upward movement of $0.16 per Oz.
