Scrap gold, platinum and silver prices see strong rally

WASHINGTON (Scrap Monster) : The daily scrap gold prices - both hallmarked  and non- hallmarked advanced Thursday, 17th October on the ScrapMonster Price Index. The prices of Silver scrap and Platinum scrap also climbed higher.

 In the Hallmarked category, the 14 carat gold scrap prices were up by $ 17.16 per Oz. The prices of 18 carat and 22 carat gold scrap went higher by $ 22.01 and $ 26.87 per Oz respectively.9 carat gold scrap also quoted higher by $ 11.0 per Oz. The price of Platinum scrap increased by $ 14.59 per Oz. Silver scrap prices also were marginally higher by $ 0.33 per Oz.

In the Non-Hallmarked category, the 14 carat gold scrap prices edged higher by $ 16.24 per Oz. The prices of 18 carat and 22 carat gold scrap were up $ 20.82 and $ 25.42 per Oz respectively. 9 carat gold scrap also advanced by $ 10.41 per Oz. A rise of $ 14.59 per Oz was seen in platinum scrap prices. Meantime, Non-hallmarked silver scrap prices saw upward movement of $0.29 per Oz.
