Scrap gold and silver prices drift lower, Platinum remains unchanged

WASHINGTON (Scrap Monster) : The daily scrap gold prices - both hallmarked  and non- hallmarked were down Tuesday , 15th October on the ScrapMonster Price Index. The silver prices too declined. Meantime, platinum prices witnessed no change from the previous day.

 In the Hallmarked category, the 14 carat gold scrap prices were down by $ 11.63 per Oz. The prices of 18 carat and 22 carat gold scrap fell by $ 14.92 and $ 18.22 per Oz respectively.9 carat gold scrap also went lower by $ 7.46 per Oz. The price of Platinum scrap had no change. But, Silver scrap prices closed lower by $ 0.85 per Oz.

In the Non-Hallmarked category, the 14 carat gold scrap prices edged lower by $ 11 per Oz. The prices of 18 carat and 22 carat gold scrap were down $ 14.1 and $ 17.22 per Oz respectively. 9 carat gold scrap also went down by $ 7.05 per Oz. No change in price was seen in Platinums. Meantime, Non-hallmarked silver scrap prices dropped by $0.76 per Oz.
