North American Scrap gold and silver slips, platinum scrap unchanged

WASHINGTON (Scrap Monster) : The daily scrap gold and silver prices - both hallmarked  and non- hallmarked were marginally in the red as on Friday, 11th October on the ScrapMonster Price Index. Platinum scrap prices saw no variation from Thursday.

 In the Hallmarked category, the 14 carat gold scrap prices were down by $ 6.96 per Oz. The prices of 18 carat and 22 carat gold scrap slipped by $ 8.91 and $ 10.88 per Oz respectively.9 carat gold scrap also went lower by $ 4.45 per Oz. The price of Platinum scrap remained unchanged at $1,009.83 per Oz. Silver scrap prices too closed slightly lower by $ 0.33 per Oz.

In the Non-Hallmarked category, the 14 carat gold scrap prices edged lower by $ 6.57 per Oz. The prices of 18 carat and 22 carat gold scrap were down $ 8.43 and $ 10.29 per Oz respectively. 9 carat gold scrap also was down $ 4.22 per Oz. Platinum scrap prices saw little variation over the day. Meantime, Non-hallmarked silver scrap prices declined by $0.29 per Oz.
