India Scrap Prices mostly decline on index

NEW DELHI (Scrap Monster) : India’s Scrap Prices witnessed negative drop for almost all items on Oct 9th Wednesday as reported on the Scrap Monster Price Index.

Scrap prices of Copper Armeture declined by INR 2,000 per Ton at INR 456,000 per Ton. Copper Cable Scrap and Copper Heavy Scrap prices showed fall by INR 2,000 per Ton each. Price of Copper Sheet Cutting also went down by INR 2,000 per Ton. Decline by INR 2,000 per Ton each was reported in the prices of Copper Utensil Scrap and Copper Wire Bars (HCL).

India’s Brass Scrap prices also reported low on index. Brass Sheet Cuttings price declined by INR 1,000 per Ton and Brass Utensil Scrap Price also fell by INR 1,000 per Ton.

The price of Lead Ingot Scraps dropped by INR 1,000 per Ton. Nickel Cathode price too went down by INR 3,000 per Ton. However, Tin Slab price reported positive uplift on Oct 9th, edging up by INR 4,000 per Ton. Aluminum Scrap prices in India remained unchanged as the previous day.
