MONTREAL (Scrap Monster) : The North America Copper Scrap price all of a sudden went down after a week-long recovery on October 9th as on the Scrap Monster Price Index.

Alternator price decreased by $ 0.01 per Lb at $ 0.65 per Lb. #1 Copper Wire and Tubing dropped by $ 0.06 per Lb and #2 Copper Wire and Tubing went down by $ 0.06 per Lb. The price of #1 Copper Bare Bright showed decline by $ 0.07 per Lb, while #3 Copper – Light Copper price edged down by $ 0.05 per Lb. A decrease by $ 0.03 per Lb was reported in the price of #1 Insulated Copper Wire 85 % Recovery, whereas #2 Insulated Copper Wire 50 % Recovery price went down by $ 0.02 per Lb. The price of Copper Radiators also declined by $ 0.02 per Lb. Prices of Cu Yokes and Cu/Al Radiator Ends decreased by $ 0.01 per Lb each. Cu/Al Radiators had a down move by $ 0.02 per Lb.

Declines on the prices of Harness Wire 35 % Recovery and Heater Cores were reported that went down by $ 0.02 per Lb each. A drop by $ 0.03 per Lb was showed by Romex Wire, while the prices of Starters and Xmas Lights declined by $ 0.01 per Lb respectively.
