Hegang Mining Imports Its First Batch of Manganese Ores From Russia

Hegang Mining Industry Group imported the first batch of manganese ores it mined from Russia through Luobei port in China’s northeastern province of Heilongjiang

SHANGHAI, Jul. 29 (SMM) – Hegang Mining Industry Group imported the first batch of manganese ores it mined from Russia through Luobei port in China’s northeastern province of Heilongjiang.

Hegang Mining’s subsidiary Hemeng Industrial and Trading Co. mined the ores from its 146-million-yuan ($23.6-million) manganese project in Russia, China Chemical Industry News reported over the weekend.

It is forecasted that Luobei port would receive 200,000 tons of manganese ores in the next two years with a total value of $88 million, the report said.
