China Imports and Exports of Copper and Aluminum in June 2013

SHANGHAI,July. 10 -- According to the preliminary data from the General Administration of Customs, China's imports of unwrought copper and copper semis were 379,951 mt during June , with YTD imports from January to June at 2,002,172 mt, down 20 % YoY. China's imports of scrap copper were 340 kt during June , with YTD imports from January to June at 20.7 million mt, down 7.2% YoY.

China's imports of unwrought aluminum and aluminum semis were 65,560 mt in June , with YTD imports from January to June at 386,770mt, down 37 % YoY. Alumina imports were 90 kt during June , with YTD imports from January to June at1650 kt, down 33.2% YoY. China's imports of scrap aluminum were 180kt during June , with YTD imports from January to June at 1130 kt,down 7.9% YoY. China's exports of unwrought aluminum were 48,293 mt in June , with YTD exports from January to June at 266,626 mt, down 22.1 % YoY.
