SHANGHAI, Apr. 26 (SMM) – In Shanghai tin market, traders and smelters held prices firm on Thursday, with quotations up RMB 1,000/mt to RMB 143,000-145,000/mt. Trading was light as downstream buyers considered the prices unacceptable. Some traders believed downstream buyers will continue to limit purchases ahead of the May Day holiday and expected consumption to improve after the holiday.
