SHANGHAI, Mar. 22 (SMM) – A tungsten mine has been discovered in Zhuxi, Jiangxi province, China. Currently, the mine is still under survey conducted by Team 912 of Jiangxi Provincial Bureau of Geology and Mineral Resources. The survey project has already cost investment of RMB 32.55 million from 2010 to 2012, and will need another RMB 328 million investment from 2013 to 2015. It is expected that the survey work will be completed in 2015, and the Jiangxi provincial government will not transfer mining right of the mine until 2015.
Based on current drilling result, grade of tungsten ore at the mime meets industrial demand. It is expected that Minmetals Group, Jiangxi Tungsten Group, Xiamen Tungsten Industry and Chongyi Zhangyuan Tungsten are most likely to get mining rights.
