China January Refined Copper Imports 243,174 Tons, Down 27.5% on Year

China's refined copper imports in January fell 27.5% from a year earlier to 243,174 metric tons, the General Administration of Customs said Monday.

Feb 25, 2013 (Dow Jones) BEIJING--China's refined copper imports in January fell 27.5% from a year earlier to 243,174 metric tons, the General Administration of Customs said Monday.

January Imports rose 1.8% from December.

China's copper concentrate imports in January rose 26.7% on year to 761,098 tons, customs said.

China is the world's largest copper consumer.
