SHFE Zinc Price Movement (2013-2-18)
Feb 18, 2013 17:25On February 18, SHFE zinc prices fell after opening slightly lower, and #0 zinc prices in spot market were largely between RMB 15,500-15,560/mt.
SHANGHAI, Feb. 18 (SMM) – On February 18, SHFE zinc prices fell after opening slightly lower, and #0 zinc prices in spot market were largely between RMB 15,500-15,560/mt, with spot discounts over the 1305 SHFE zinc contract shrinking to RMB 290-300/mt. Trading for #1 zinc was muted, with traded prices seen around RMB 15,450/mt. Most downstream consumers have yet to resume production, so overall market activity remained relatively lackluster.
