China Manganese Ore Market Movement (2012-12-19)

China’s manganese ore market was relatively quiet today.
SHANGHAI, Dec. 19 (SMM) – China’s manganese ore market was relatively quiet today. Although inquires were relatively brisk in north ports, transactions were limited amid high prices and few supply of manganese ore from Australia. In north port, as demand was relatively brisk, prices for manganese ore were relatively firm. In south port, prices were inclined to fall amid soft demand.
Transactions in north ports were limited due to low price acceptance from downstream producer. Some manganese ore imported from Brazil, South Africa and Australia gradually arrived at south ports, 50% of which was purchased by traders.
