DashboardDatabaseProReportsEventsConsultingNov 12, 2012, BEIJING (Dow Jones Commodities News Select via Comtex) -- China's crude steel output rose 2% in October to 59.1 million metric tons, up from 57.95 million tons in September, the National Bureau of Statistics said Tuesday.
The output in October rose 6% from the year-earlier period, it said in a statement.
The country produced 602.23 million tons of crude steel in the first 10 months of the year, up 2.1% on year, it said.
Daily average production in October reached 1.906 million tons, down from 1.93 million tons in September, according to the data.
