ICSG: Refined Copper Market In 36,000-ton Deficit in June

The world refined copper market was in deficit by 36,000 metric tons in June, the International Copper Study Group said Friday.

LONDON, Sep 21, 2012 (Dow Jones) -- The world refined copper market was in deficit by 36,000 metric tons in June, the International Copper Study Group said Friday.

For the first six months of the year, the ICSG said it estimates a production deficit of 473,000 tons. This compares with a deficit of 131,000 tons in the same period of 2011.
