DashboardDatabaseProReportsEventsCar InsightSep 19, 2012 (Dow Jones Commodities News via Comtex) -- The global refined zinc market was in surplus by 135,000 metric tons in the first seven months of 2012, the International Lead and Zinc Study Group said Wednesday.
The gap was smaller than the 274,000-ton surplus in same period of 2011.
In January to July, total production reached 7.389 million tons of refined zinc, while consumption was recorded at 7.254 million tons, it said.
