SHANGHAI,Apr. 10 -- According to the preliminary data from the General Administration of Customs, China's imports of unwrought copper and copper semis were 462,182 mt during March, with YTD imports from January to March at 1,360,701 mt, up 50.5% YoY. China's imports of scrap copper were 430 kt during March, with YTD imports from January to March at10.6 million mt, up 6.4% YoY.

China's imports of unwrought aluminum and aluminum semis were 120,494 mt in March, with YTD imports from January to March at 338,611 mt, up 38.6% YoY. Alumina imports were 440 kt during March, with YTD imports from January to March at 1160 kt, up 65.8% YoY. China's imports of scrap aluminum were 220 kt during March, with YTD imports from January to March at 570 kt, up 2.5% YoY. China's exports of unwrought aluminum were 67,983 mt in March, with YTD exports from January to March at 175,157 mt, up 10.6% YoY.
