Collahuasi, the world’s third- biggest copper mine, said road access to the mine was blocked last night as rain hit northern Chile’s Atacama Desert.
Mar. 14 (Bloomberg)-Collahuasi, the world’s third- biggest copper mine, said road access to the mine was blocked last night as rain hit northern Chile’s Atacama Desert.
Access has been partly restored today, spokeswoman Bernardita Fernandez said in a text message. Mining operations weren’t affected, she said.
