BEIJING, Mar 09, 2012 (Dow Jones) -- China imported 64.98 million metric tons of iron ore in February, up 33.6% on year, the General Administration of Customs said Saturday.

February imports rose 9.5% from January.

Imports in the first two months reached 124.26 million tons, up 5.7% on year, customs said.
