On Monday, the most active SHFE aluminum contract price lacked momentum to rebound.

SHANGHAI, Feb. 27 (SMM) – On Monday, the most active SHFE aluminum contract price lacked momentum to rebound and spot prices in South China only rose by RMB 10/mt, with mainstream transactions done at RMB 15,870-15,890/mt. Downstream consumption was still weak, while cargo holders were not willing to move goods at lower prices, leaving stalemate between buyers and sellers. Transactions remained modest as a result.
