DashboardDatabaseProReportsEventsConsultingLONDON, (Dow Jones Commodities News via Comtex) -- The global lead market was in surplus by 58,200 metric tons in 2011, the World Bureau of Metal Statistics said Wednesday.
The WBMS said this compared with a deficit of 62,800 tons in 2010.
Global production rose by 476,000 tons year-on-year, while demand was 417,000 tons higher, it said. It did not give the total figures.
