Chinese Stocks Pick up Steam at Midday

Chinese stock indices moved higher for the morning break Wednesday.

BEIJING, Feb. 15 (Xinhua) -- Chinese stock indices moved higher for the morning break Wednesday, with the benchmark Shanghai Composite Index ending the morning session 0.86 percent higher at 2,364.92.

The Shenzhen Component Index climbed 1.40 percent to close at 9,677.68.
