DashboardDatabaseProReportsEventsConsultingBEIJING, Feb. 7 (Xinhua) -- Chinese shares tumbled in the morning session Tuesday as latest forecast has given rise to investors' concerns on future economic growth, with the benchmark Shanghai Composite Index down 1.93 percent, or 44.96 points, to close at 2,286.17.
The Shenzhen Component Index lost 2.33 percent, or 220.08 points, to finish at 9,228.57.
The International Monetary Fund, in its Monday report of China economic outlook, cut its forecast for China's GDP growth this year to 8.25 percent from the 9 percent projected earlier in September.
