ArcelorMittal’s Ukraine Unit Says Steel Output Fell in November

ArcelorMittal (MT)’s Ukrainian unit said steel output fell last month, extending a decline in production this year following repair work at the Kryvyi Rih plant.

Dec 12, 2011 -- ArcelorMittal (MT)’s Ukrainian unit said steel output fell last month, extending a decline in production this year following repair work at the Kryvyi Rih plant.

Volumes dropped to 531,600 metric tons in November from 565,700 tons a year earlier, ArcelorMittal Kryvyi Rih said today in an e-mailed statement. Output for the first 11 months of the year shrank to 5.15 million tons from 5.65 million tons.

Output in October totaled 527,900 tons.
