Shanghai Spot Copper Price Movement on Dec. 8

Shanghai spot copper offers were quoted between discounts of negative RMB150-30 today.

SHANGHAI, Dec. 8 (SMM) –Shanghai spot copper offers were quoted between discounts of negative RMB150-30 today. Traded prices for standard-quality copper were between RMB 57,950-58,050/mt, and RMB 58,000-58,100/mt for high-quality copper. Although SHFE copper prices moved lower after a low open, sufficient copper supply caused copper discounts to sustain. Market activity remained very light due to weak consumption.
