SHANGHAI, Sept. 20 (SMM) –Last week, brass inventories held flat with the previous week, with the turnover period enough for eight days. New arrivals of brass fell over the past week, with costs mostly between USD 5,750-5,850/mt. Downstream producers became more cautious towards operations following copper price declines, so order volumes were down compared with a week earlier. Besides, most downstream producers chose not to build inventories easily, resulting in little change in brass inventories.
