SHFE #1 Lead Price Movement on Sept. 15

SHFE lead prices plummeted to RMB 16,245/mt after opening, and then rallied to the moving average.

SHANGHAI, Sept. 15 (SMM)--SHFE lead prices plummeted to RMB 16,245/mt after opening, and then rallied to the moving average. Domestic spot lead prices were close to yesterday’s. The brands such as Nanfang and Chihong Zn & Ge were quoted between RMB 16,140-16,160/mt, with discounts of negative RMB 200/mt against SHFE 1110 lead contract prices, while Shuangyan was quoted between RMB 16,160-16,080/mt. Downstream buying interest improved due to lower spot prices.

SHFE 1511 lead once moved higher to RMB 13,245/mt after opening Monday evening session at RMB 13,190/mt.
