SMM Weekly Survey on Brass Scrap Inventories (Aug. 8-12)

SHANGHAI, Aug. 8 (SMM) –Based on an SMM survey, brass scrap inventories were flat with the previous week levels, as rapidly falling copper prices increased copper processor’s wait-and-see sentiment and depressed purchases. In general, brass scrap inventories were in decline, as brass scrap trader’s inventories were low after earlier consumption and continued to be used up by processing enterprises before new goods arrived.
