Chongqing Shunbo Sets up New Company in Guangdong

SHANGHAI, Jun. 10 (SMM) -- Chongqing Shunbo Aluminum Alloy Company (Chongqing Shunbo), the top secondary aluminum enterprise in southwest China, set up Guangdong Shunbo Aluminum Alloy Company (Guangdong Shunbo) in Qingyuan city, Guangdong province, will be put into operation in August. After the new company comes online, Chongqing Shunbo’s total annual capacity will exceed 250 kt, becoming the third secondary aluminum enterprise with annual capacity greater than 200 kt following Sigma Group and Ye Chiu Metal (TaiCang) Company.

Sources report that Guangdong Shunbo has aluminum alloy ingot capacity greater than 100 kt/yr, plus Chongqing Shunbo’s capacity of 150 kt/yr, Chongqing Shunbo’s total annual capacity will surpass 250 kt, becoming another leading secondary aluminum enterprise in China.
