SHANGHAI, Jun. 1 (SMM) -- According to data released by China Federation of Logistics and Purchasing (CFLP) on June 1st, the Purchasing Managers Index (PMI) for May slipped slightly, suggesting slower economic activities in China.

China's PMI from CFLP was 52.0% in May, down by 0.9 percentage points MoM. Although the data was still above 50%, it slipped for two consecutive months, suggesting stable decline in economy growth. According to data released by HSBC on May 23, China's initial PMI in May was 51.1, the lowest in 10 months, indicating that China's manufacture expansion lowered and economy growth momentum waned to certain extent under the context of China's effort to combat inflation and complicated international environment.
