U.S. Copper Holds near Highs after Q4 GDP Fata

Jan 28 (Reuters) - U.S. copper futures held near their early-session peaks on Friday after data showed the U.S. economy gathered steam in the fourth quarter, led by the biggest gain in consumer spending in more than four years.

After the release, COMEX copper for March delivery HGH1 was trading up 3.55 cents at $4.3740 per lb, near the upper end of its $4.2860 to $4.3815 range.
