SMM Weekly Forecast on China’s Selenium Market (Jan. 17-21)

SMM expects mainstream prices of selenium powder will move between RMB 920-950/kg next week.

SHANGHAI, Jan. 14 (SMM) -- Given that EMM prices will remain stable in the following week but EMM producers will replenish certain amount of selenium dioxide before Chinese New Year holiday, SMM expects prices for selenium dioxide will move between RMB 660-680/kg. Prices of selenium powder will also up due to anticipation of more buying of selenium dioxide and by virtue that domestic selenium power supply is tight and overseas selenium power prices are stable. SMM expects mainstream prices of selenium powder will move between RMB 920-950/kg next week.
