SHANGHAI, Jan. 10 -- According to the preliminary data from the General Administration of Customs, China's imports of unwrought copper and copper semis were 344,558 mt during December, with YTD imports from January to December at 4,292,486 mt, unchanged on a yearly basis. China's imports of scrap copper were 430 kt during December, with YTD imports from January to December at 4.36 million mt, up 9.2% YoY.

China's imports of unwrought aluminum and aluminum semis were 82,927 mt in December, with YTD imports from January to December at 955,432 mt, down 58.8% YoY. Alumina imports were 410 kt during December, with YTD imports from January to December at 4.31 million mt, down 16.1% YoY. China's imports of scrap aluminum were 260 kt during December, with YTD imports from January to December at 2.85 million mt, up 8.7% YoY. China's exports of unwrought aluminum were 78,822 mt in December, with YTD exports from January to December at 754,378 mt, up 143.2% YoY.
