Copper Climbs in London on Speculation of U.S. Growth Signs: LME Preview

Dec 20 (Bloomberg) -- Copper climbed in London on speculation that growth signals in the U.S. economy will boost the outlook for demand of industrial metals.

-- Copper rose $101, or 1.1 percent, to $9,171 a metric ton at 7:04 a.m. on the London Metal Exchange. Relative Strength Index 65.
-- Aluminum gained 0.4 percent to $2,345.25 a ton. RSI 52.7.
-- Zinc jumped 0.8 percent to $2,293 a ton. RSI 52.3.
-- Lead rose 0.4 percent to $2,429 a ton. RSI 54.6.
-- Nickel fell 0.5 percent to $24,875 a ton. RSI 64.9.
-- Tin rose 0.4 percent to $26,150 a ton. RSI 57.6.
