Copper Climbs a Second Day in London and Shanghai, Leading Gains in Metals

Dec 20 (Bloomberg) -- Copper advanced for a second day from London to Shanghai, leading an advance in industrial metals.

Copper for three-month delivery on the London Metal Exchange gained 1.7 percent to $9,220 a metric ton, while the March-delivery contract on the Shanghai Futures Exchange climbed 1.4 percent to 69,370 yuan ($10,408) a ton.

Zinc on the LME jumped 2.2 percent to $2,324 a ton, while lead rose 1.2 percent to $2,448 a ton.
