2010 August Ni Output Data Analysis

SHANGHAI, Sep. 28--

Nickel Ore

According to CNIA data, China's output of nickel concentrate in August was 6,419 mt in August, down 2.96% MoM and YTD output was 55.874 kt, down 3.04% YoY. Output of nickel concentrate doesn’t change much and total output of China’s domestic nickel concentrate remains stable.

Nickel

According to CNIA data, China's output of refined nickel during August was 13.39kt, down 13.98% MoM. YTD output was 111.81kt, up by 6.82% YoY. Part of China’s refined nickel output is negatively affected by Jinchuan Group’s unit maintenance.
