DashboardDatabaseProReportsEventsConsultingTOKYO, Aug. 30 -- Japan's refined zinc exports for July fell 20 percent from a year earlier to 7,580 tonnes, marking the seventh straight month of declines, Ministry of Finance data showed on Monday.
Taiwan was the top destination, accounting for 29 percent of total export volume, followed by China with 24 percent.
Zinc is mainly used as an anti-corrosive coating in galvanised steel production and in plating.
July's year-on-year drop narrowed from June's 37 percent fall.
