SHANGHAI, Aug. 13 (SMM) -- North China, today 1# bright copper was traded at RMB 44,000-44,300/mt, copper rod prices experienced relatively large growth rate, but bright scrap prices climbed at a slower pace, with limited supply. Trading volume recovered slightly.

    East China, today 1# bright copper was traded at RMB 44,500-44,800/mt, scrap copper prices jumped again, firming market confidence. Traders were firm with their offers, and the buying interest was moderate, so transactions reported improvement.

    South China, today 1# bright copper was traded at RMB 45,200-45,400/mt, cargo-holders raised prices significantly, and downstream purchasing interest was relatively high, so transactions improved.
