Thailand has extended anti-dumping (AD) duties on hot-dip galvanized cold-rolled flat steel from China, in coil and non-coil form, effective from September 7, 2026, for up to one year pending a review decision. Tax rates remain unchanged at 3.05%, 3.69%, 4.75%, 8.20%, and 37.54% based on CIF value, with a 0% exemption for materials used in automotive, electrical/electronics, and color-coated steel manufacturing.

[Indonesia] Currently, billet prices are in the range of 480 USD/metric ton FOB. This week has been a quiet period for the Indonesian steel market as the market has shown absolutely no movement, and buyers still consider the price too high; they believe the price should be lowered by about 10 USD/metric ton to be considered reasonable. However, steel mills have no intention of lowering prices at this time due to reports from China that the local steel association is working to reduce production, which is driving prices up. This sentiment may be leveraged in the future, but with absolutely no demand, steel mills may lower prices so their products can be sold.

[인도 국내] 국내 철강 및 고철 시장 활동은 여전히 부진했다. 알랑은 비슈와카르마 푸자로 휴장했고, 일부 다른 지역은 부분적으로 조업하며 가격은 대체로 보합세를 보여 시장은 전반적으로 안정세를 유지했다. 다만 잘나, 뭄바이 등 일부 시장에서는 철근 가격이 소폭 상승했다. 많은 시장 참여자들이 관망세를 유지했다. 만디 HMS 1&2 (80:20)는 만디 인도도 기준 톤당 410.83달러(39,400루피)로 보합세였다. PDRI 스펀지 철은 라이푸르 공장도 기준 톤당 307.60달러(29,500루피), 벨라리 공장도 기준 톤당 326.37달러(31,300루피)로 각각 변동이 없었다. 벨라리에서는 수요일에 톤당 약 321~323달러(30,800~31,000루피) 수준에서 일부 스펀지 철 거래가 보고되었다. 시장 참여자들에 따르면 판매자들은 여전히 톤당 약 326.37~328.46달러(31,300~31,500루피)의 더 높은 가격을 제시하고 있지만, 목요일에도 비슷한 수준이 이어질 수 있다. 구매자들이 신중한 관심을 보이면서 시장 활동은 제한적으로 유지되고 있다. 라이푸르 빌릿은 라이푸르 공장도 기준 톤당 464.02달러(44,500루피)로 보합세였다.
