Volta Confirmed Gallium Mineralization Across the Full Length of All Three Springer Drill Holes, With Total Rare Earth Oxide Grades Up to 6.41% Highlights： The extent of gallium mineralization significantly exceeds the currently defined main rare earth mineralized zone, indicating a broader distribution of gallium. In drill holes SL26-31 and SL26-33, the vertical extent of gallium mineralization extends 210 m beyond the current open-pit boundary; drill hole SL26-32 remained within the mineralized zone at end of hole at a depth of 426 m and remains open at depth, indicating resource growth potential beyond the current pit-constrained resource estimate. Over the full length of drill hole SL26-31, 399.0 m (3.0-402.0 m), the average gallium oxide grade was 51.8 g/mt. The highest-grade gallium interval across the three drill holes occurs in drill hole SL26-31 at 67.1-67.6 m, where over 0.5 m the gallium oxide grade reached 236.6 g/mt and the total rare earth oxide (TREO) grade reached 6.41%, together with elevated concentrations of high-value permanent-magnet rare earth elements: neodymium oxide (Nd₂O₃) 6,730 g/mt, praseodymium oxide (Pr₆O₁₁) 2,598 g/mt, samarium oxide (Sm₂O₃) 414 g/mt, gadolinium oxide (Gd₂O₃) 265 g/mt. In drill hole SL26-32, over 53.9 m (372.1-426.0 m), the total rare earth oxide (TREO) grade was 1.22% and the gallium oxide grade was 47.0 g/mt; this interval extends to the bottom of the drill hole and remained within the mineralized zone at end of hole. Gallium is not included in the current Springer mineral resource estimate.

[SMM 희토류 익스프레스] MP 머티리얼스는 미국의 항공우주 및 국가방위 분야 고객(비공개)과 가돌리늄(Gd) 장기 분리 계약을 체결했다. 가돌리늄은 SEG+ 스트림의 일부로 마운틴패스 기존 광체에서 회수되며, 별도의 채굴 없이 부산물 가치를 창출할 수 있다. 이번 거래는 MP 머티리얼스가 Pr-Nd(NdPr) 중심의 희토류 생산업체에서, 미국 고객에게 다양한 분리 희토류 제품을 제공할 수 있는 통합 정제업체로 전환하고 있음을 보여준다. 가돌리늄은 항공우주 및 국가방위 분야에서 전략적 활용처가 있어 미국 내 공급망에서 특히 중요하다. 현재 고객의 신원, 거래 물량, 가격, 예상 매출은 공개되지 않아 구체적인 재무 기여도를 평가하기는 어렵다. 다만 기존 광체에서 가돌리늄을 회수·분리함으로써 MP 머티리얼스는 독립적인 채굴 비용을 늘리지 않고도 마운틴패스 광체의 희토류 제품 포트폴리오를 추가로 확대할 것으로 예상된다
