The List of Winning Candidates for the 200MW/800MWh Grid-Forming ESS EPC Project in Shule, Xinjiang Has Been Announced.

Polaris Energy Storage Network learned that on April 26, the list of winning candidates for the EPC general contracting project of the Shule 200MW/800MWh grid-forming ESS project was announced.

The first winning candidate is the consortium of China Construction Eighth Engineering Division Third Construction Co., Ltd. and Huasheng (Shenzhen) Electric Power Design Institute Co., Ltd., with a bid price of 866.104 million yuan, equivalent to a unit price of 1.083 yuan/Wh.

The second winning candidate is the consortium of China Erzhong Group Co., Ltd. and Zesheng Survey and Design Co., Ltd., with a bid price of 892.5617 million yuan, equivalent to a unit price of 1.116 yuan/Wh.

The bid inviter for the project is Shule Jingshun Ruineng New Energy Co., Ltd., and the ESS power station has a scale of 200MW/800MWh, with a supporting 220kV step-up collection station.

According to the tender announcement, this project is a turnkey project, and the bidder is responsible for all work and costs related to the project from preliminary design to the completion acceptance of the project. The project is expected to start on April 2025 (the specific start date is subject to the actual date), and the construction period is required to be 270 calendar days.
