National Power Industry Statistics from January to March 2025

According to data from the National Energy Administration, by month-end March, the national cumulative installed power generation capacity reached 3.43 billion kW, up 14.6% YoY. Among this, the installed solar power generation capacity was 950 million kW, up 43.4% YoY, and the installed wind power generation capacity was 540 million kW, up 17.2% YoY. From January to March, the national average utilization hours of power generation equipment were 769 hours, a decrease of 81 hours compared to the same period last year. The completed investment in power supply projects by major power generation enterprises nationwide was 132.2 billion yuan, down 2.5% YoY, while the completed investment in power grid projects was 95.6 billion yuan, up 24.8% YoY.
