Hainan's First Distributed "Canal Surface" PV Project Connected to Grid
Hainan's first distributed "canal surface" PV project, the Huaneng Lingshui 59.9MW distributed PV power generation project, has been connected to the grid. The project, invested by Huaneng (Lingshui) New Energy Co., Ltd. and constructed by China Railway 20th Bureau Group Electrification Engineering Co., innovatively combines PV power generation with canal resource utilization. Solar panels are installed above the main canal and surrounding unused land, ensuring the canal's functionality while generating PV power. The total installed capacity reaches 59.9 megawatts, with an expected annual power generation of approximately 102 million kWh.
