170 Million Yuan! 10,000 mt Lithium Battery Recycling Project Launched in Linyi, Shandong

Linyi Yihe New District in Shandong announced the 10,000 mt scrap lithium battery recycling and reuse project by Linyi Buzhi Weimang Environmental Protection New Materials Co., Ltd. The company plans to invest 170 million yuan to build this project in the Circular Economy Park of Linyi Economic Development Zone, including the construction of a new recycling production line. Upon reaching full production, the project will annually produce a total of 8,307.7 mt of various battery powders and scrap metals. The implementation of this project will not only alleviate the environmental pressure caused by lithium battery scrap but also achieve the recycling of waste resources, contributing to energy conservation, emission reduction, and reducing the intensity of mineral extraction, thereby further enhancing and expanding product applications and market potential.
