【SMM Analysis: Peak Season Purchase Demand Remains, EMM Exports Up MoM】According to the latest data released by the General Administration of Customs, SMM statistics show that China's exports of unwrought manganese, scrap, and powder in March 2025 reached 23,258 mt, up 20.41% MoM but down 31.71% YoY. Exports of wrought manganese and manganese products were 2,164 mt, up 81.70% MoM and 20.41% YoY. The total exports of EMM and manganese products in March 2025 were 25,400 mt, up 23.97% MoM. The main reason for the increase in exports in March was that overseas steel mills entered their peak production season, leading to an overall increase in raw material demand. Additionally, the domestic EMM market was in a stalemate in March, with spot prices stabilizing, and overseas customers' sentiment shifted from cautiousness to increased purchases, resulting in a MoM increase in the total exports of EMM and manganese products.

[유럽] 유럽의 여름 휴가철이 막바지로 접어들면서 북서유럽과 이탈리아 전역의 열연코일(HRC) 현물 가격은 좁은 범위에서 보합세를 보였다. 북서유럽 공장도 가격은 733유로/톤 EXW(약 851달러/톤)로 마감됐고, 이탈리아 공장도 가격은 727유로/톤 EXW(약 844달러/톤)를 기록했다. 공급 측면에서는 일부 북서유럽 제철소가 남유럽으로 11월 선적분을 적극적으로 제안하며 가격을 790유로/톤 DDP(약 917.50달러/톤)까지 올렸고, 일부 이탈리아 공급업체는 750~760유로/톤 DDP(약 870~883달러/톤)로 가격을 인상했다. 그러나 하류 최종 수요 회복이 더디고 구매자들이 높은 비용을 전가하지 못하면서 이러한 인상된 가격 수준은 시장에서 대체로 거부됐다. 수입 부문에서는 터키 제철소가 유럽향 수출 오퍼를 565~580유로/톤 CFR(약 656~673달러/톤, 관세 제외)로 유지했지만, 관세·쿼터·컴플라이언스 위험이 복합적으로 작용하면서 구매자 관심은 여전히 미미했다.

9월 3일 기준, 이번 주 총 철근 재고는 647.76만 톤으로 전주 대비 9.49만 톤 감소해 1.44% 줄었으며, 음력 기준 전년 동기 대비 17.55% 증가했다. 이번 주 총 선재 재고는 144.83만 톤으로 전주 대비 4.02만 톤 감소해 2.70% 줄었으며, 음력 기준 전년 동기 대비 12.85% 증가했다.
