【SMM Flash】As the Labour Day holiday approaches, recyclers' enthusiasm for purchases has declined, and they may enter the holiday early. By then, the arrivals of raw materials at secondary lead smelters are expected to be even weaker. Due to pressure in raw material procurement, the supply of secondary crude lead remains scarce, with few offers during the week, and most companies still focus on fulfilling long-term contracts. As of April 18, 2025, the mainstream ex-factory price of secondary crude lead excluding tax was 15,700-15,850 yuan/mt, and in some regions, the supply still remains inverted with the price of secondary refined lead.
