SMM April 16 News: The mainstream brand 0# zinc transaction price in the Ningbo market was around 22,530-22,715 yuan/mt. The conventional brands in Ningbo quoted a premium of 240 yuan/mt against the 2505 contract and a premium of 40 yuan/mt against the Shanghai spot cargo. Mainstream brands in Ningbo quoted against the 2505 contract. In the first period, Yongchang quoted a premium of 240 yuan/mt against the 2505 contract, Qilin quoted a premium of 240-250 yuan/mt against the 2505 contract, Baiyin quoted a premium of 240 yuan/mt against the 2505 contract, and Honglu-v quoted a premium of 240 yuan/mt against the 2505 contract. In the second period, some traders lowered the premiums and discounts for Qilin, while other traders' quotes remained unchanged from the previous period. Delivered zinc ingots continued to impact the Ningbo market. Today, the premium for self pick-up from warehouses in Ningbo was slightly adjusted. Although the futures market declined in the morning, some downstream companies were still digesting previously purchased zinc ingots, while others basically maintained rigid demand purchases.
