According to data released by the General Administration of Customs on April 14, China's steel exports in March 2025 reached 10.456 million mt. The cumulative steel exports from January to March totaled 27.429 million mt, up 6.3% YoY. In March, China's steel imports were 501,000 mt. The cumulative steel imports from January to March amounted to 1.55 million mt, down 11.3% YoY.
