【Li Auto Invests 150 Million in Scientific Research, 2025 Project Application Officially Starts】On April 9, it was reported that the "Beijing Natural Science Foundation-Shunyi New Energy Intelligent Connected Vehicle Innovation Joint Fund" jointly initiated by Li Auto, the Office of the Beijing Natural Science Fund Committee, and the Shunyi District Science and Technology Committee of Beijing last year has officially started the application for the new year's project. The cooperation period of the joint fund is from 2024 to 2028, with an annual fund scale of 50 million yuan, and Li Auto will invest a total of 150 million yuan over five years. This year's joint fund will focus on research in fields such as intelligent vehicles, artificial intelligence, new generation information technology, and integrated circuits.

The joint fund aims to provide financial support for basic research in the field of new energy intelligent connected vehicles, offering theoretical and technological support for the R&D business of Li Auto and the development of the related industry. The funding is divided into key projects and cultivation projects. The funding amount for key projects does not exceed 5 million yuan per item, and for cultivation projects, it does not exceed 500,000 yuan per item, with a project implementation cycle of 2-3 years.
