Inner Mongolia Unveils Key Tasks for Strengthening Manufacturing Industry Clusters and Chains

Recently, Inner Mongolia has proposed key tasks: strengthening the construction of key industrial clusters and industry chains in the manufacturing sector. Firstly, the region will continue to implement the gradient cultivation project for advanced manufacturing clusters, including projects such as the Hohhot dairy product cluster, the Baotou rare earth new materials cluster, and the Ordos modern coal chemical cluster, and actively participate in the national cultivation project for world-class advanced manufacturing clusters. At the same time, it will cultivate characteristic industrial clusters such as aluminum-based new materials, advanced alloy materials, and crystalline silicon PV materials, and select and reserve new autonomous region-level advanced manufacturing clusters in preparation for the next round of national competition. Secondly, the region will comprehensively strengthen the construction of key industry chains in the manufacturing sector and accelerate the improvement of the cultivation mechanisms for industrial clusters and industry chains.

신장 보위안 알루미늄 유한공사는 연산 15만 톤 규모의 신형 알루미늄 반제품 프로젝트 건설을 전력으로 추진하고 있다. 신장 준둥 경제기술개발구 화샤오산 알루미늄 다운스트림 산업단지에 위치한 이 프로젝트는 총투자 1억 8천만 위안, 부지 면적 64무이다. 총 건축 면적 2만 3천 제곱미터의 표준화 생산 작업장 2개 동을 건설할 계획이다. 생산 라인 구성 측면에서 이 프로젝트는 알루미늄 봉 생산 라인 2개, 주조 압연 알루미늄 코일·스트립 생산 라인 8개, 냉간 압연 알루미늄 코일·스트립 생산 라인 1개를 갖추게 된다. 프로젝트가 전면 완공되어 가동되면 연간 알루미늄 선 6만 톤, 알루미늄 코일 9만 톤의 생산 능력을 갖출 것으로 예상된다.
